has used its technical expertise to produce a family of packaged
high power LED products which are truly surface mountable
and offer flexibility, dramatic effects and durable, cost
efficient solutions for a wide range of applications.
7090 XR Series
Xlamp 7090 XR series are the pillar of the Xlamp range and
are dual current rated devices meaning the same part can be
driven at 350mA or up to 700mA if more light output is required.
These robust devices offer numerous benefits including: low
thermal resistance (8°C/W), high maximum junction temperatures
(145°C), narrow colour bins and full compatibility with
automated assembly and soldering processes.
7090 XR-C
The XR-C has typical luminous flux levels of 25
lumens at 125mA, 60 lumens at 350mA and 78 lumens
at 500mA.
7090 XR-E (White)
Cree have recently introduced the XR-E white LEDs which are 40% brighter
and 50% more efficient than the previous 7090XR device. This ground-breaking
device has a drive current range up to 1000mA giving a dazzling 176 lumens
of light output. As well as offering the same benefits of low thermal
resistance and high maximum junction temperatures these products have
typical efficiency levels of 70lm / W making them ideal for
many general lighting applications including street lighting, commercial
lighting, architectural lighting and any situation where low power consumption
and high reliability are paramount.
7090 XR-E (Blue)
Another new introduction from Cree is the XR-E Blue with drive
current range up to 700mA, available in Blue and Royal Blue.
XLamp products have low thermal impedance and are designed
for economical assembly onto metal core printed circuit board
using standard reflow processes to achieve electrical and
thermal connections without pre attachment with epoxy. They
have an integrated lens for easy integration with secondary
optics. All devices are RoHS compliant.
