XLamp XT-E – A breakthrough in lowering LED lighting solution costs
Cree, Inc. the innovative, market leading US LED manufacturer has launched a new lighting-class LED component, XLamp XT-E.
Leveraging their in-depth knowledge of silicon carbide based semiconductor technology Cree has developed the new XLamp XT-E offering unrivalled performance vs. price. This breakthrough enables delivery of lower cost PCBs that accelerate the adoption of solid state lighting technology by lowering initial system cost.
“The XT-E is a successor to the XP-E High Efficiency White and uses the same 3.45mm x 3.45mm square footprint as the XP family of LEDs; enabling quick, simple migration to lower cost and higher efficacy LED PCB solutions for designs currently based around the XP series of LEDs” said Ian Dixon, Sales Manager at Forge Europa.
XT-E delivers up to 148 lumens and 148 lumens per Watt in cool white (6000K) or up to 114 lumens and 114 lumens per Watt in warm white (3000K), both at 350mA, 85°C.
