Cree introduce XLamp MT-G2

Cree have announced the forthcoming availability of an updated variant of their MT-G LED using the very latest chip LED technology, SC3 also known as Direct Attach™.

MT-G2 LED components are ideally suited for applications currently using halogen based lamps, such as track, accent and down lighting installations, where lumen output and colour consistency are critical criteria but where energy efficiency and product reliability are key considerations.

Delivering up to 2100 lumens in warm white (3000K) at 85ºC whilst consuming just 25W of power, MT-G2 offers a seamless upgrade path for applications already utilising the 8.9mm x 8.9mm MT-G LED footprint. MT-G2 components are available in 2-Step and 4-Step MacAdam-step binning options for colour temperatures ranging between 2700K to 5000K CCT.
