XR Series
XR-E is a premium performance, single-die, lighting class PowerLED lamp, designed for use in high output lighting applications such as street lighting, commercial lighting and architectural illumination. XR-E combines robust packaging with Cree’s advanced solid state semiconductor materials, allowing XR-E to deliver up to 235 lumens in cool white when driven at 1000mA. When driven at 350mA XR-E exhibits a market leading luminous efficacy of 93.75 lm/W. Currently available in Green, Blue, Royal Blue alongside a comprehensive range of Cool, Soft and Warm Whites from 2,600K through to 10,000K CCT.
The XR-C has been purposefully limited technically in terms of higher operational currents to provide a lower cost PowerLED solution to that of the XR-E, offering all of the same advantages available with the XRE but from a slightly less robust die. XR-C offers lighting manufacturers the flexibility and performance to create the next generation of low energy lighting products. Targeted to provide maximum lumens/£, XR-C has maximum drive currents of 500mA for InGaN (blue, green and white die) and 700mA for AlGaInP red, orange, and amber die).
XR-C is available in the full spectrum of monochromatic colours; red, orange, amber, green, blue and royal blue, in addition to whites from 2,600K through to 10,000K CCT.

XP Series
XLamp XP series combines the proven lighting-class performance of the XLamp XR-E LED with an ultra-compact, optically centred package. Available in three variants, XP-C for cost-sensitive applications, XP-E for premium performance with tight colour binning and XP-G for ultra-efficient performance at a high forward current, the XLamp XP family gives lighting manufacturers a wide range of price and performance options that all share a common footprint.
XP-C is targeted to be a lower cost option, and as such comprises a smaller LED die. The net result is an inexpensive LED offering both excellent colour stability and impressive lumen maintenance. The maximum forward current for XP-C is 500mA.
XP-E is a versatile lighting-class LED emitter, offering superior lumen output from a smaller LED package when compared the XR-E. XP-E is available in cool, neutral and warm white colour temperatures and is now available in a full gamut of monochromatic colours, including red, amber, green, blue and royal blue.
XP-G is targeted at high-performance applications necessitating significant lumen output and efficiency. For example, when driven at 350mA the cool white XP-G product is capable of achieving a lamp efficacy of 130 lumens per Watt, which is 64% more efficient that the highest performance XR-E LED.
Recent developments to the XP-G product include the availability o the product in neutral and warm white colour temperatures. Additionally Cree has advised a fully retrospective revision of XP-G’s maximum forward current, increasing the maximum rated value to 1500mA when used in conjunction with appropriate heat sinking.

MC Series
XLamp MC-E is a multichip LED device built around the same semiconductor die materials used in the XR series of lamps and occupies the same 7.0 x 9.0mm footprint. With its four chip configuration MC-E has the ability to provide unparalleled lumen density and design flexibility, making it an ideal candidate for compact point-source light fittings where space is at a premium but performance is paramount. For example it is possible to achieve in excess of 700 lumens of cool white light from a single MC-E driven at 700mA.
Now available in cool, neutral and warm white colour temperatures, in addition to a combined red, green, blue and white (RGBW) model that takes full advantage of the MC-E’s individually addressable die positions with specific anode and cathode connections.

XLamp MX-6 provides the proven lighting-class performance and reliability of Cree XLamp LEDs in a flattop PLCC package. The MX-6 line continues CREE’s history of innovation in LEDs for lighting applications with wide viewing angle, unlimited floor life and uniform light output without the need for secondary optics.
The XLamp MX-6 LED brings high performance and quality of light to a wide range of lighting applications, including linear lighting, fluorescent replacements and retail-display lighting.
