The XR series sets new benchmarks for LED lighting with the XR-E being the most efficient white power LED available today. All devices are supplied in a rugged 7 x 9mm package which is capable of being reflow soldered.

The XR-E cool whites (>5000K CCT), royal blue and blue are rated for drive currents up to 1000mA, whilst the neutral, warm white and XR-E green are rated for drive currents up to 700mA. In the XR-C package maximum drive currents for the InGaN based colours (whites, blues and green) are 500m; AlInGaP red and red-orange are 700mA, whilst amber is 350mA.

XP-E and XP-C Series

The XP series is an ultra compact high power LED lamp comprising the same proven white LED technology as packaged in other XLamp LED devices. Both XP-E and XP-C utilise a centrally mounted hemispherical lens that is bonded to the lamps ceramic substrate, creating a mechanically symmetrical package with ultra wide viewing angle.

The XP-C devices have a maximum drive current of 500mA in all colour temperatures (5,000K through to 10,000K), whereas XP-E is rated up to 700mA in the full range of whites.

MC-E Series

Multichip MC-E comprises four high performance CREE LED dice in a single 7 x 9mm package. Delivering up to 730 lumens in cool white when driven at its maximum forward current, 700mA; MC-E achieves an exceptional lm/mm² making it ideal candidate for integration into compact lighting installations. Thermal resistance between LED junction and package slug is 3°C/W, and full-width viewing angle is 110 degrees.

Each LED within the MC-E package is individually addressable and forward voltage selected, enabling the device to be driven as a single LED or multiple LEDs within a single source.

IMPORTANT XLamps must not be run at full rated current unless mounted on a suitable metal cored PCB, see Thermal Management data sheet.
