This is an apprenticeship role based at our head office in Ulverston. It would include both in-house training and attendance at Furness College. No prior experience of working in an office is required as training support will be provided. We are looking to recruit for summer 2012. Electronics Design Engineer
As part of a team of design engineers the role involves taking responsibility for specific product design from concept to prototyping. The role comprises of electronics hardware design for LED related products for a wide range of applications as well as software/firmware design, analogue electronics design/simulation and technical reporting.

Lighting Applications Engineer
Responsible for the design of LED products for a wide range of customers and applications including luminaires and LED light engines. The role involves the optical, mechanical and thermal design of LED products, LED device selection testing, prototyping and technical reporting.
