The CommunityMark model has been developed by Business in the Community and is based on the excellence model of the British Quality Foundation. It assesses an organisation's approach to community activity and is divided into 2 sections, business excellence and community excellence, with the Forge Europa scoring highly in both sections.

Susan Hinchcliffe of Business in the Community commended Forge Europa on "the business' excellent community programme, which is an example of excellence that will undoubtedly inspire others to do the same."
