Through the adoption of a bespoke circuit design operational parameters such as the driver current, efficiency and power factor, in addition to mechanical layout and form factor of the driver, can be optimised to suit any LED application.

High Efficacy XLamp XP-G 132 lm/W at 350mA
XLamp XP-G is the most efficient lighting class LED available from Cree Lighting, broadening the design potential for creating high-efficacy, low power consumption, ultra-efficient lighting solutions. Based on the established XP LED platform, XP-G is capable of delivering 132 lumens per watt at 350mA, enabling longer endurance for off-grid and portable lighting and offering low power consumption for products connected to a mains input supply.

New Cree EasyWhite^TM Bins Simplify LED Design and Improve Colour Consistency
Visible Solutions are now designing LED solutions that employ the new Cree EasyWhite^TM binning regime; an innovation that simplifies LED system design and improves LED-to-LED colour consistency. EasyWhite^TM bins include 3500K, 3000K and 2700K CCT, each of which are 75% smaller than the benchmark ANSI C78.377 standard colour regions.

Forging a brightly led future at Light & Building 2010
With less than three months to go before Light and Building 2010 in Frankfurt, Forge Europa is busy preparing for what promises to be an exciting inaugural attendance at the internationally acclaimed lighting industry event. As the world’s largest innovations forum for architecture and integrated building services engineering, with an exhibition area of 240,000 square meters; Light and Building is the only trade fair which offers state of the art technology in a situation which combines lighting, electrical engineering and home and building automation.

Exhibiting on Stand 4.2 J35 from 11 – 16 April 2010, the Forge Europa team will be showcasing the company’s specialist capabilities in the design, development and volume manufacture of reliable and ultra-efficient LED solutions for integration into OEM lighting products.
